Mars, the planet of assertion, links up with Uranus, the planet of radical change, for a kiss in the sky at 26º degrees of Taurus. This aspect is exact today at 10:05 AM ET. The two planets are merging energy. How does this manifest for in our lives? Mars is assertion and aggression. Uranus is instability and unpredictability. The last few days building up to this conjunction may have felt chaotic and we can expect the unexpected until Saturday, July 20 when Mars exits Taurus and enters Gemini. We can feel agitated, impatient and impulsive on a personal and global level.
To add a little extra chaos to the mix fixed star Algol, aka “Death Star” is at 26º Taurus and joining the liberation party. Algol was considered to be “the eye of the devil.” Global violence and unrest is possible.

Mar is war. Uranus is freedom. It’s time to break out, break free or have a breakthrough. Change is loading whether your like it or not so it’s best to roll with the punches. We may even feel like starting some drama. But make sure you aren’t stirring the pot with people, places or things in your life for a thrill. There may be arguments and plot twists this week, flow with the changes instead of fighting them. Try not to start a fight if possible.
Keep in mind that Taurus is a fixed, earth sign. Taurus isn’t exactly rolling out the red carpet for changes especially a surprise switch up that will lead to some kind of discomfort. But remember growth occurs outside your comfort zone.
Mars connecting with Uranus may show up as accidents. Be cautious when driving, working out, cooking or handling sharp objects. Mars is fire and explosions. Uranus is shocks and surprises. The two planets in a conjunction can be volatile.
Don’t make any hasty decisions. As my grandmother used to say “haste makes waste.” You may end up regretting cutting your hair off or cussing your partner out at a later date. Keep in mind that tempers are flaring.

You may feel on edge as Mars is your chart ruler. Channel your energy into creativity and innovative ways to make money.
TAURUS
Free yourself from any situations keeping you small and stuck. It might be time for the big chop, the great resignation or simply a new attitude.

Sometimes a wound has to be triggered to finally forces a healing breakthrough. Face your fears and free yourself from the baggage of the past.
