He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Michelle and Marianne. His grandsons, Carlos and Marko, who af- fectionately called him their FaFa were the joy of his life. He is prede- ceased by his parents, Anne and Leo Faubert.
He leaves also his sib- lings, Gerry (Dino), Sharon, Greg (Laura), Mary Jane and Anne Marie (Greg) and many nieces and nephews. Ed had a very successful ca- reer as a coffee broker and grader, traveling worldwide and always knowing on which side of the mountain the bean grew. He earned many accreditations in the coffee industry. He was an accomplished author, well known sto- ryteller, and contribut- ing writer to numerous trade and commodity publications. He de- lighted in being the tour guide for New York City to the many family and friends who visited him over the years.
Later as an adult, he earned a Tae Kwon Do black belt and enjoyed sparring. Ed will be missed by all who knew him, but we are consoled in our deep sorrow by our cherished times with him. Leo Edward (Ed) Faubert CHAPPAQUA, NY Joan Ruth Zoldessy, 70, died at home Wednes- day morning following a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Charles Kaufmann, cherished mother of Sasha (Shannon), Ame- lia, Sam (Melissa), and adored grandmother of James. Selfless healer, devoted friend.
