Mrs. Ledford was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ in North Vernon. Born Oct. 19, 1909 in Glasgow, she was a daughter of Fred and Eula (Hanco*ck) Foster. She married Roland Jesse in 1927, he died in 1931.
On April 21, 1943 she married William M. Ledford, he died Jan: 3, 1969. Survivors include a son, William Jessee, Stockton, four sisters, Geneva Foster, and Frances Specht, both of North Vernon, Alice Davis, New Albany and Carrie Hamner Green, Tiffin, Ohio; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 24, 1965, in Seymour, she married J. Richard Redmon and John (Jack) LaBonty, 68, Columbus, died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 1999 at his home. Mr.
LaBonty was a professional soldier. He retired from the United States Army and was also retired from Cummins Engine Co. He was a member of Fairlawn First Baptist Church, Columbus. Born Oct. 19, 1930 in Minocqua, he was a son of Jack and Reba Tilton LaBonty.
He was preceded by his first wife Dorothy L. MacDonald. On June 30, 1984 he married Thelma C. Davidson, she died Aug. 5, 1999.
Survivors include three sons, John Charles LaBonty Mission Viejo, Randall Ray Asche, Greensburg and Kevin Keith Asche, Columbus; four daughters, Rene E. Fischer, Cincinnati, Ohio, Jacqueline L.
